Caroline Hands (1948 – 2026)
The life of Caroline Hands was defined by a legendary love of color and a tireless dedication to the creative spirit. A genuine and independent artist, she spent decades encouraging creativity in others, working across communities with generosity.
Her practice was a constant exploration of differences and sameness, fueled by the belief that art should breathe and break up the earth like the natural world she so admired.
Caroline passed away peacefully in early 2026. She leaves behind an extraordinary body of work and a community forever changed by her talent and her energy.
